pH & Alkalinity Decreaser

SoftDown decreases the pH and alkalinity of your water in your vinyl lined Softub.

Directions for Use
Note: Always predissolve SoftDown prior to adding to your Softub

1. Test your Softub for total alkalinity and pH. If alkalinity is above 150ppm, and 1 ounce of SoftDown. Allow the water to circulate for 30 minuets. Retest and repeat if necessary.

2. If you adjusted alkalinity, now test for pH. If pH is above 7.8, add 1/2 oz. SoftDown to your Softub at a time, waiting 30 minuets between each test until pH is within 7.2-7.8.

Do not allow pH to drop below 7.2

Caution
SoftDown contains sodium bisulfate. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Do not mix with household chemicals. Do not mix directly with other Softub Chemicals.

Storage
Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place. When container is empty do not reuse. Wrap container and place in trash collection or approved landfill.
