Chlorinating Concentrate Granular Sanitizer. The spa care system specifically formulated for vinyl lines spas, softub and splashtub.
Directions for Use:
1. Initial Chlorination: Add 1/2 oz. of the product per 500 gallons of softub water prior to entering the softub. Wait5 minuets then check chlorine residual. Residual chlorine must read between 2-3 ppm. If it does not, additional dosages of material should be added until it does. Once the SoftChlor/Chlorine residual is established in the 2-3 ppm range the Softub may be entered.
2. Maintain: This product should be added daily or as necessary to maintain 2-3 ppm residual chlorine. Frequent checks should be made of residual chlorine using the reliable test kit or test strips. This product should be broadcast over the surface of your Softub water and allowed at least 5 minuets mix time before sampling. Note: Heavy bather usage or the use of oils or lotions may increase the chlorine demand of the softub or splashtub resulting in the need for more frequent checks of chlorine residual.
3. Check pH: pH should be monitored with a reliable test kit of Test Strip and maintained at 7.2-7.8 range for clean, sparkling Softub water. pH can be decreased by adding a suitable agent such as SoftDown or increased by adding a suitable agent such as SoftRise.
SUPER CHLORINATION: It is a good practice to super chlorinate your softub or splashTub® each 2-4 weeks. To super chlorinate add 1oz of this product for each 500 gallons of water in your Softub. Thoroughly clean your Softub, vacuum and cycle through filter. Resume program when chlorine residual reads 2-3 ppm.
