Softub® Filters

Softub filters are a crucial part of setting up a spa. The purpose of the filter is to keep the water clean. There are different types and sizes of filters to be used in hot tubs. SpaDuck has filters especially designed for Softub and SplashTub spas. Filters for the Softub® and SplashTub® are not interchangeable, so make sure you choose the correct filter design.

Softub filters are designed to remove the contaminants such as make-up, body oils, and bacteria from the water. It is important to do a monthly check on your filter. It can become clogged with the particulates to the point that it is no longer effective in cleaning the water. If it needs to be cleaned, we have the cleaning solution that will increase your filter life.

Replacing Softub Filters
The frequency required for replacing Softub® filters is dependent upon the amount of use. For most people, once a year is sufficient. It may, however, be necessary to change the filter more frequently if there is a high level of activity or contaminants in the water. Maintaining the water with the proper chemicals will help extend the life of Softub filters.

Softub® filters are available from SpaDuck as snap on or screw on filters. We also have filter socks available that fit over the filter. This increases the longevity and efficiency of the filter. Check our website for all your hot tub needs such as a fill filter to use on the garden hose when you are filling your Softub. It removes any particles of debris in the water as the spa is being filled.
